Linsey-woolsey is a woven fabric with flax warp and wool weft. The term often refers to coverlets woven in America in the 1800s.
This installation is inspired by a coverlet woven by Daniel Stephenson in Fairfield, Iowa in 1857. The images use materials and research from the archives of the State Historical Museum of Iowa.
In addition to adding color and light to an office space, the metallic vinyl on the window glass will help prevent bird strikes.
