The wallpaper for this installation was produced from a gouache drawing of tufts of found animal hair. This image was made into a repeating pattern and printed on 240 square feet of wallpaper. The wallpaper was backed with satin and cut into an image of the pattern Japanese Beetles leave when they decimate foliage. The paper falls away from the wall, leaving behind an intricate network of the cut-out pattern.
