House Paint and Laser Cut Paper

Drawing paper was painted with red house paint on one side and then laser cut into images of clematis flowers, which were just coming into bloom. These cut paper blooms were strung into garlands and hung inside the storefront display window. The interior of the storefront glass with painted with red house paint, and the outside with white. Images of the same clematis were cut out of the paint, stacking the painted images in the same way the scrolling paper moved between red and white.
